The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) on today published the results of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exams held from March 14-22 this year.

According to the OCE, 41.57 percent students have passed the exams under regular category which is 5.59 percent less than the pass rate of last year.

A total of 16924, students have achieved distinction, 76,282 students got first division, 75,678 second division and rest passed in the third division, according to the OCE.

A total of 511,165 students sat for the exams with 403,936 in regular category and 107,229 in the exempted category, according to the Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE).
